The best influencers in Germany
Deliberately spread across subjects and cities instead of sorted by reach – led by Thomas Müller, Pamela Reif and Lukas Podolski.
1Thomas Müller
The 2014 world champion plays in the MLS for the Vancouver Whitecaps and posts in two languages from the dressing room, the training pitch and his Canadian everyday life. As a World Cup pundit for MagentaTV he explains games he used to play himself, carrying the nickname Raumdeuter with visible pleasure.
2Pamela Reif
She started out with workout videos, and by now a nut-butter brand, a skincare label and an app holding training plans next to recipes belong to her. Forbes put Pamela Reif on its 30-under-30 list, and she writes about her first year in Paris as openly as about her training phases.

3Lukas Podolski
Podolski still takes to the pitch for Górnik Zabrze and runs the club in his Polish homeland as its manager at the same time. He is also a business partner in the Mangal kebab chain and coaches a team in the BallerLeague, and his posts alternate between German, English and Polish.
4Caroline Daur
She fronts campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Gucci, acts for German public television and was invited to Brilliant Minds in Stockholm for the second time. Caroline Daur writes about herself in dry English, and her bio promises exactly that: allegedly quite funny for a German.
5Katja Krasavice
For twelve years Katja Krasavice has been making rap music and headlines, usually at the same time. She turns criticism into a slogan of her own, “Selfmade aus eurem Hass”, and between single announcements and music videos her feed holds talk and podcast appearances, among them one at BILD.
6Max Haase
Max Haase crossed the Alps by mountain bike, rode through Kenya with a Maasai guide and stood in front of Angel Falls in Venezuela. Under the pictures he puts the best time to travel, the route and the things worth doing, written for people who want to copy the trip.
7Julia Willecke
She has played Lilly in the ZDF series “Frühling” since 2018, voiced a character in Disney's “Wish” and sells a perfume of her own. On Instagram the nonsense wins anyway: challenges with Joey in which neither of them is meant to look good, and photos of days when nothing worked out.
8Mirko
How to film yourself without a crew is what Mirko teaches, in short CapCut walkthroughs on camera work, cutting and pacing for travel and car clips. The trips supply the backdrop while the subject stays the craft, including the AI tools he tries out himself.
9Stefano Zarrella
With him you get the whole recipe, ingredient list and every single step, mostly Italian and often cooked alongside his mother. Between cinnamon-roll cake and homemade kebab, Stefano Zarrella writes just as openly about loneliness and about why life is not a race.
10Bella
Bella tests make-up and hair care for MAC, Origins and La Roche-Posay, and the same feed carries unfiltered everyday scenes with her dog Ernie. Her podcast “Enge Freunde” arrives on Fridays, and the fact that she is 1.60 metres tall reads like a statement in her bio.
11Benny & Angie
Everything that can go wrong in a marriage with small children, Benny and Angie act out in short sketches; Angie says she startles her husband every so often just to check that his reflexes still work. The two married in 2025, and their YouTube series “Follow Us” tells the same family at length.
12Philipp Hehmann
Philipp Hehmann stages menswear in an old-money register, linen shirt and loafers, photographed in Portofino or on a golf course. The style profile has turned into a business: he is building the fragrance label Casa Far Niente and stood at a trade fair with it as an exhibitor for the first time.
13Ibo Ahmiane
He explains inheritance tax down to the paragraph number and savings plans through compound interest, and when someone brings up ice baths and five-a.m. alarms, he contradicts them in public. Ibo Ahmiane calls himself a stock millionaire, has written a book and teaches what school left out.
14Nico Stank
Lifeguard, firefighter, dating coach: the roles change by the second in his short sketches. Nico Stank hosts the “Shit Show” on RTL+, appeared in the Netflix special “Alphamännchen”, talks on his podcast “Niccisquickie” and has his second stage tour behind him.
15Annemarie Paulsen
She runs the farm herself, with livestock, machines and stable work filling the day, plus five children. Annemarie Paulsen comments on all of it in Low German and answers the question from her bio, “Ja, wat macht man so op'n Land?”, literally with every post; longer farm stories go to her YouTube channel.

About Germany's influencer scene
We continuously analyse around fifty thousand German-language creator accounts, and the actual top of that field is far narrower than the headlines suggest.
Berlin supplies the most big names, with Cologne and Munich close behind, followed by Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. By subject, fashion carries the market, with food and cooking, sport, music and stage, family and everything around money right behind it. Passing a million followers is the exception in this landscape: it applies to a good three hundred accounts in the entire country.
Sorted by reach alone, this list would be a football squad, because the biggest German Instagram accounts belong to professional athletes. So each name here stands for a scene, at most two per subject, and thirteen of the fifteen lead straight on to one of our city or topic rankings. If you are searching for a campaign, describe your brief in the search and filter by subject, city and size.
