The best car influencers from Germany
From the creator who never appears without his helmet to an engine builder at AMG: fifteen names whose posts revolve around cars.
1 GERCollector
GERCollector shows supercars and only ever appears in a mirrored full-face helmet. He rates new models in quick “HOT or NOT?” reels, from the Audi RS5 Avant to the BMW M2. At the Nürburgring he hosts his own trackday, which draws more than 500 cars.
2 Tomke Nils
Anyone who wants to know which cars are new right now will find them at Tomke Nils: almost every day he shows world premieres and launches, from the Aston Martin Valen to the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, along with sound checks and Brabus and ABT conversions with up to 1,000 hp. Many clips come in German and English, and events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed are part of it.

3 Sophia Flörsch
In 2023 Sophia Flörsch became the first woman to score points in FIA Formula 3, after earlier seasons at Le Mans and in the DTM. Since 2026 she has been testing and developing for Opel's Formula E team, and the same year she drove her first rally. Beyond racing she shows her running training and classic events like the Mille Miglia.
4 Lisa Yasmin
Lisa Yasmin repairs and tunes her BMWs herself, from window regulators to alternators, and documents her E30, E36 and M4 projects as running series. Trained as an administrative clerk, she lives in Bavaria and drives track days at the Nürburgring; at the PS Days in Hanover she ran the Ladies Lounge.
5 Daniel Abt
Daniel Abt won Formula E races in Mexico City and Berlin in 2018 and ended his racing career in 2020. Today he represents the family company ABT Sportsline and presents its limited special editions, including the 720-hp RS5-R. On YouTube he tests cars himself, the Lamborghini Temerario for one at Hockenheim.
6 Marie
“Would you ride along?” Marie asks under almost every video in which she takes guests around the track and films their reactions. She bought her Lotus Exige Sport 350 as an accident car and had it rebuilt. In 2026 she attended the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a guest of Corvette and Cadillac.
7 Daniel Mates
When a manufacturer unveils a supercar, Daniel Mates is often in the front row, as with Porsche's Mission S in New York or the Revuelto SV that Lamborghini let him drive on track. The Frankfurt creator also shows Brabus builds like the Bodo, and his clip of the 911 by Singer and Louis Vuitton passed a million likes.
8 Philipp Kaess
On RTLZWEI's “GRIP – Das Motormagazin” Philipp Kaess is the tuning expert, and he also builds cars with more than a thousand horsepower. He worked on his Audi RS4 saloon for so long that many thought it would never be finished, and when a V10 block broke, a new one was milled from solid.
9 Joy Semrau
With Joy Semrau the car usually delivers the punchline, whether it is manual versus automatic, a diesel prank on a Supra or relationship questions around her Nissan GT-R. The Twitch partner from Düsseldorf also rides motorcycles and films a driving-school series with an instructor.
10 Meltem Tasan
Under her own brand Melteam, Meltem Tasan brokers cars, after selling new cars at BMW from 2017 to 2023. Her videos show supercar deliveries such as a Ferrari 812 Superfast and the conversion of her own M5 CS. With a racing licence from Hockenheim she also competes herself and hosts stages at tuning shows.
11 Sebastian Baumgarten
Sebastian Baumgarten drives almost nothing but BMW M cars and does much of the work himself, from indicators on the M4 for 25 instead of 700 euros to new bearings in the E92. He imported the M3 E92 from South Korea and collected the G82 M4 at BMW Welt. Under the name RBLYN he releases his own merchandise.
12 Stefanie Dechant
Stefanie Dechant is an engineer who shows young women the way into the automotive and motorsport industry, with career tips, book recommendations and insights into Formula 1 weekends. In 2026 the EIE Mentorship Club she founded for this met for the first time in Stuttgart. She now gets invited to Formula 1 races, for instance by Cadillac in Monaco.
13 Justin Pech
“Does it sound like … € quality?” is Justin Pech's format, in which a car's sound and interior have to show whether they are worth the price. Every day he posts premieres and rarities such as the white Bugatti Mistral. Since 2019 he has been producing car videos as a freelancer, among others for Audi, Porsche and Brabus.
14 Michael Kübler
Michael Kübler builds engines by hand at Mercedes-AMG in Affalterbach, following the “One man, one engine” principle. Almost every day he presents a model from Mercedes-AMG history with its technical data, from the CLK GTR to the SLS Black Series. In 2026 he collected his own AMG GT63 Pro in Sindelfingen.
15 Dominik Fisch
Dominik Fisch calls his Porsche 997 Carrera S a childhood dream, and he also drives a 944 S2 and a BMW 135i. He rates new models in short “TOP or FLOP?” reels, mostly from Porsche and BMW. In Düsseldorf he runs the social media agency Social Attention.

About the German car scene on Instagram
A good hundred large accounts are mainly about cars, and hardly two of them show the same thing.
The range runs from an anonymous creator in a helmet to an engine builder who assembles power units by hand at AMG and a racing driver who helps develop Opel’s Formula E car. Many do their own wrenching, on an E30, an E92 or a Lotus; others bring knowledge from their job, as an engineer, a tuner or a former new-car saleswoman.
For brands this means a clearly defined audience but very different tones, from the workshop video to the comedy sketch. That is why we do not sort by follower count but by how many posts are really about cars, how lively the community responds and how much advertising sits between the genuine posts.
